Summer / Pre-Fall 2018 is a May delivery for St. Roche. The responsibly designed and versatile collection transitions the season from lightweight cotton beach-ready looks through to chic silk layering. Metallics shine at sunset, and after dark.
Inspired by Sofia Coppola’s visually stirring movie “The Virgin Suicides” and research in the V & A museum’s 19th century Regency textile gallery. The film’s dreamlike ethereal romanticism and endless-summer vibe coupled with ‘70’s suburban sportswear, sets the mood.

- Elevated silk sportif bottoms balance soft voluminous tops
- An open stitch hand crochet body skimming tank
- Semi sheer silk turtle necks; modern underpinnings
- A falling-off-the-shoulder balloon sleeve blouse
- High necks and midi silhouettes
- Confident head-to-toe color on color
- Pegged satin track pants
Original print and embroidery designs, sustainable natural fabrics and artisanal handcrafted textiles:
- A microfloral print influenced by Indienne and Chintz textiles
- Cotton Guipre lace updates St. Roche’s signature organic cotton voile ruffled silhouettes
- “Sofia”, an elegant abstract floral embroidery on soft hand woven cotton
- Silver stripes with hand smocking, shimmer from beach to bar to disco
The colors, warm and from nature, inspired by the balmy days of midsummer:
- Neutrals base the collection: Ivory, Natural Shell, Sand, Peppercorn and Black
- A hazy spectrum of mauve purple tones from pastel Lilacs, through to Tulip, Berry and Rosewood
- Hits of Geranium and Saffron
